Conditioning House Bradford, goes in for planning!
7 years agoOur upcoming project, Conditioning House Bradford, has gone in for planning!
Following our acquisition of this historic Conditioning House mill in October 2016, we have been working tirelessly on our designs for the building to ensure we do this majestic building justice. Following 9 months of several design reviews and negotiation with the local council, we have now submitted our full planning application for the mills!
Our plans include a mixed use scheme briefly comprising: 133no. luxury apartment, Grade A offices, High spec serviced offices, cafe and gym! Particular attention to detail has been made to the heritage items of the building in order to retain and enhance these features. A central atrium will be retained and restored to become the focal point of the scheme!
Exceptionally finished apartments
With planning due in December this year, we are hoping to be on site and start construction Q1 2018 with an expected 18 month construction programme. The finished apartments will be sold to BTL investors benefiting from above average yields as well as owner occupiers who will benefit from an exceptional finish and all the amenities the city centre provides! The commercial space will be one of the first of its kind in the city. Grade A offices of the highest calibre as well as a separate, fully serviced office section, perfect for business’s wanting a turn key and fully managed office suite from 2 – 16 desks! On site parking within the city centre will also provide uniqueness
As always, the principal contractor for the scheme will be our sister company, Priestley Construction LTD. With several years experience in historic building conversion, they are the perfect fit to deliver a truly unique scheme for us.
Lettings and management will be provided by another member of the Priestley Group, Priestley Lettings. With offices already in Bradford city centre and a strong hold on the city centre rental market for both students and professionals, they are perfectly situated to Let and manage all the apartments!
Due to the uniqueness of these mills to the local area and region, the development has received significant press. The biggest of which was on the front page of the Telegraph and Argus with features and comments from our CEO, Mr Nathan Priestley. to read, Click Here
