Nathan Priestley debates housebuilders restrictions
6 years agoRestriction housebuilders face
A report published by the Federation of Master Builders in September 2017 revealed that over half of SME housebuilders cited accessing finance as a major obstacle when producing new homes.
From these results, Development Finance Today questioned whether this was limiting creativity in the property sector. Our chief executive officer, Nathan Priestley, was happy to offer his expert opinion on the matter.
Speaking alongside finance and property experts including Alexander Moss of Zorin Finance and Leo Santana of Right Fit Properties, Nathan reiterated the importance of creativity when developing homes. He concluded that housebuilders taking existing buildings and transforming them into residential properties was a welcome sign of continued innovation in the sector.
Nathan showcased Priestley Homes’ specialism in this area. He said: “The Priestley Group is at the heart of this approach in the North of England; we’ve unlocked various sites in strategic, industrial locations, such as Bradford, Leeds and Manchester, turning former mills and factories into luxury new homes.”
On the other hand it’s great to see that the strong reputation of Priestley Homes is appreciated nationwide.
